We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the transportation industry while contributing to the delivery of exceptional service to our passengers. The Customer Service Intern will work closely with our customer service team to assist passengers, resolve inquiries, and ensure a positive travel experience for all.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist passengers with ticket purchases, journey planning, and travel information both in person and over the phone.
  • Provide support and guidance to passengers at ticket offices, stations, and on trains, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, striving to resolve issues effectively and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to address passenger concerns and improve service delivery.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, fare structures, and service offerings to provide accurate information to passengers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and drive customer loyalty.
  • Assist in the management of social media channels and online platforms, responding to passenger queries and engaging with the community.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to develop knowledge and skills relevant to the role.

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program or recent graduate in a relevant field such as business, hospitality, tourism, or transportation.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to resolve issues promptly and diplomatically.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
