Job Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting research and analysis on water regulation policies and practices.
Support the development and implementation of environmental policies aimed at promoting sustainability within the water industry.
Collaborate with teams to evaluate and assess the performance of water companies in meeting regulatory standards.
Participate in meetings and workshops to gain insight into the workings of the UK water sector and its regulatory framework.
Contribute to the creation of reports, presentations, and other communications materials related to water regulation and environmental policy.
Engage in outreach activities to stakeholders and the public to raise awareness about Ofwat’s initiatives and regulatory efforts.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors to support the overall objectives of the internship program.

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree program.
Strong interest in the UK water industry, water regulation, environmental policy, or related fields.
Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
